VERO PUBLIC RELATIONS OPENS VIETNAM OFFICE

 

April 1, 2008, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City — Vero Public Relations, a corporate communications specialty practice, is strengthening its offerings in Southeast Asia with the opening of an office in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Kieu Thu Le Nguyen has been appointed account director. Brian Griffin, managing director of the Thailand office, will add Vietnam to his portfolio. Griffin first practiced in Vietnam from 1997-2000 as a PR generalist, working in consumer promotions, corporate communications and labor relations.

 

“It’s great to operate once again in Vietnam,” said Griffin. “Obviously, the country is prospering at a very high level and the government’s support of the business community is a big, big part of this. We think Vietnam has a great mix of talent, ambition and eagerness, and we are glad to be a part of this great success story that Vietnam has become.”

 

As Account Director, Le Nguyen will provide leadership to the Vietnam business and oversee the consumer oriented client roster. Le Nguyen brings 10 years of experience in marketing communications to this post. She’s provided strategic communications counsel and program development and oversight for a wide range of companies on a regional and local level.

Le Nguyen, a native of Ho Chi Minh City, worked and studied in the U.S., attending Harold Washington College and the University of Illinois-Chicago.
